Ostriches have long necks, prominent eyes and sweeping eyelashes. They have the largest eye of any land animal. An ostrich’s eye is nearly 2 inches across. with their long necks and excellent vision they are able to see great distances, and check out for predators.

The crowned lapwings are mainly found in the savannah grassland within Somalia, Kenya, Tanzania and the southern part of Africa, they prefer short, dry grassland which may be overgrazed or burnt, but avoid mountains.
The Males are 3% larger than the females and bare parts of their colours tend to brighten up during breeding season.
