Emma spent her time volunteering at Sabine Nursery School in the East Coast house from 23 August to 4 October. 💛

During her stay, Emma and other volunteers contributed through donations, bringing smiles to the children and supporting the school in meaningful ways.🌟

Outside the project, Emma experienced the beauty of Zanzibar, making unforgettable memories along the way. 🌍✨

Our Future Stars Zanzibar U-17 team recently participated in the Chipkizi Cup in Arusha, competing against East African teams in this prestigious tournament! ⚽🌍

It was the first time our team took part in the competition, and despite facing challenges like unfamiliar weather, long travel, and tough matches, they gave it their all. The team reached the quarterfinals, gaining valuable experience and showing incredible determination throughout the tournament. 💪

A big thank you to Coach Brian George and the players for representing Zanzibar with pride and commitment. The journey might not have been easy, but it’s just the beginning for these future stars! 💛

Let’s talk about Alessia 🌟

During her time volunteering at Al Akhiria School on Zanzibar’s East Coast, Alessia dedicated herself to making a difference. Together with Katrin, she organized donations that brought supplies and joy to the children of the school. 💛

Her journey wasn’t just about giving back; Alessia also explored the beauty of Tanzania, from hiking to Materuni Waterfalls to experiencing an incredible safari adventure. Her time was a perfect mix of meaningful work and unforgettable experiences.

Meet Marlon 💛

Marlon spent 6 weeks volunteering at Mwinyi Sauti Government School in Pwani Mchangani, Zanzibar, as part of the Social Care Project. Throughout July and August, he dedicated his time to supporting the children, showing kindness, care, and patience in everything he did.

Floor, one of our amazing Arusha volunteers, spent two months at Apple Tree Junior School, teaching and connecting with the children. Thanks to her fundraising efforts, she organized a day the kids will never forget—swimming, playing, and enjoying a delicious buffet lunch. 🏊‍♀️🎉

Here’s what Floor shared: “I did volunteer work at the school Apple Tree Junior for 2 months. It was really a super fun experience. I did a safari, waterfall hikes, and had fun nights out.”

Elisa was one of the sweetest and most caring volunteers we’ve had in . Her big warm was always with her—whether she was helping in the , donating supplies, or enjoying the island’s beauty.

Last year, Fee volunteered at Sabine Nursery School in Pwani Mchangani, a place that quickly felt like . 🏫❤️ She spent her days teaching English, helping to build a playground, and creating bonds with the kids that she’ll carry with her forever.

This is Lennert! 👋 He spent two months volunteering with us at Sabine Nursery School in the East Coast. 🌴 His days were about teaching and bonding with the kids, creating meaningful connections in the classroom and beyond.

In between his volunteering, Lennert had the chance to go on safari, hike through scenic trails, visit beautiful waterfalls, and try skydiving. 🌍🏞️ He also spent time with fellow volunteers building friendships that made his journey even more special.

✨ Reflecting on Gretta's incredible journey with us! During her time volunteering on the East Coast of Zanzibar, Gretta worked at a local school in Pwani Mchangani, where she supported teachers and engaged with children both in the classroom and on the playground. Her efforts helped create a positive and supportive learning environment for the students.

In addition to her volunteering, Gretta had the chance to explore the beauty of Tanzania, including a visit to the Materuni Waterfall during her safari trip. The initiative focuses on developing essential skills like teamwork, leadership, and social responsibility. Every day, children from the village come together to practice, learning valuable lessons that extend far beyond the game. ⚽️🤝

One of our dedicated volunteers, Nele, has been pivotal in this project. She not only trains the kids daily but also led an impressive fundraising campaign that provided crucial equipment, including shoes, balls, and bibs, ensuring the team has everything they need to succeed! 🙌👟⚽️

🌸✨ At the Tupendane Women Center in Arusha, we collaborate with a dedicated organization focused on empowering women through vocational training and skill development. Our volunteers contribute by teaching sewing ✂️ and English 📚, helping women gain essential skills for financial independence and a brighter future.
