Lemala Osonjoi Lodge is set to open its doors in July 2025. Strategically located on the Crater rim, just under 250 meters from the existing Lemala Ngorongoro Tented Camp, the lodge offers breathtaking views of the crater floor below. Guests will have access to the Crater via the lesser-used Lemala access road leading to the eastern quadrant of the renowned UNESCO World Heritage site. This means that those staying at Lemala Osonjoi Lodge will enjoy exclusive opportunities for prime game viewing, as they will be among the first to reach the Crater floor each morning and the last to depart each evening.

Each suite is carefully designed with Lemala's signature plush bedding, soft lighting, and natural materials, creating a relaxing atmosphere that encourages guests to slow down and enjoy their surroundings. Cozy seating areas, complete with luxurious throws and cushions, offer the ideal spot to enjoy a cup of locally sourced coffee or immerse oneself in a good book while occasionally admiring the shifting light and shadows cast by clouds on the Crater floor.

Nestled at nearly 8,000 feet above sea level in the highlands surrounding the Ngorongoro Crater, guests can expect cool days and chilly nights. To enhance comfort, the suites are equipped with slow-burning log stoves that use sustainably sourced firewood.
