WELCOME TO Hadzabe or Hadza This is a Tanzanian tribe, located in the north-central of Tanzania, living near Lake Eyasi in the Rift Valley, in the Serengeti plain.
According to available data, the Hadzabe have fewer than a thousand people, while 300-400 people live as hunters. In today's world the Hadzabe are the people who make a living by hunting.
History
Hadza (also known as Hadzabe, Hadzapi, Watindiga, or Kindiga) call themselves Hadzabe - and suffix - Being referring to "people" in their language, Hadzane (-ne being suffix for "language"). Only Hadza says Hadzane, so language is important in deciding who to classify as Hadza.
Using evidence from stone vessel middens, rock shelters and rock art, they show that before 3,000 years ago, the people who lived in Tanzania had their own structure and social structure very similar to that of Hadza. About 2500 years ago, Cush*tic-speaking people migrated to Northern Tanzania; 1,500 years ago, Bantu people from West Africa began to take possession of Tanzania, and about 300 years ago, Kinailoti speakers from Sudan migrated to northern Tanzania and Hadza districts. There are several different ethnic groups that live in areas bordering the Hadzabe, including Datoga, Iraqw, Maasai, Isanzu, and Sukuma.
Language
The Hadzabe language, called Hadzane, is traditionally described as the Khoisan language because it has Clicks. Hadzane has three variants of click consonants: dental, alveopalatal, and solid. Linguists have argued that although it may have little in common with the Sandawe language, Hadzane has few cognates so it is often considered a separate language. Hadzabe Many speak Kiswahili as their language.
Tribal Place in Tourism
Today the Hadzabe tribe was a very popular tribe, like the Maasai tribe, tourists from various countries make their journeys to the Hadzabe villages just to learn and see for themselves how the hunters live.
