BEST TIME SEASON OF THE YEAR TO CLIMB ( ASCEND) MOUNT MERU SUMMIT.
Add Three Days or Four Days is unforgetable and stunning scenic Arusha National Park dramatic scenery and abundant wildlife througout the hike, with no doubt between the JUNE - OCTOBER and DECEMBER - MARCH During NOVEMBER it might be some shower and APRIL - JUNE is rainy season also not tecommende, when the last section of the ascent from Saddle Hut to the Summit could be relatively dangerous due to ice and snow.
PHYSICAL PREPARATION
Mt Meru Summit is normally reached simply trekking without any technical climbing the ascent is always quite steep and strenuous, involving a considerable strain on your Lungs and Legs Adding the effects of the Lack of Oxygen of the higher altitudes do not underestimate this Mountain.
In order to be well trained you should be able to run for 1/2 an hour without any breath variation.
The 1st Day it have two routes are available from Momela Gate ( a little bit more than 1500 meters) to Miriakamba Hut ( 2514 meters) The Nothern route is ( 3 - 4 hours ) is shorter making also a suitable descent route and the Southern route ( 5 - 6 hours ) is more Interesting, Although longer and slightly steeper and allows rare 4 × 4 vehicles to the second option.

° Hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro, it takes 5 to 9 days in order to reach the Summit and the descend to the finishing point.
° In each day on Mt. Kilimanjaro it takes 4 to 6 hours, but on Summit day, which begins at Midnight, you will need to hike for around 12 to 14 hours (Up and Down). This is so because your hike to Uhuru peak the Summit of Mt Kilimanjaro takes around 6 to 7 hours ascending and you must descend a long way to reach that night's campsite.
° When you trek Mt. Kilimanjaro, you can either sleep in one of two places either in a Mountain hut or a tent. Most trekkers sleep in tented camps as it is only Marangu route which offers hut Accommodation and everyone hiking via one of the other seven Mt. Kilimanjaro routes must camp.
° You can hike Mt. Kilimanjaroin 3 to 4 days via Marangu route which is suitable for beginners or those who are short of time but still wish to experience the beauty of Mt. Kilimanjaro and Tanzania. The trip takes 3 days of climbing and 2 overnight stays.
