1. **Speed and Agility**: Impalas are known for their incredible speed and agility. They can run at speeds of up to 60 kilometers per hour (37 miles per hour) and leap distances of up to 10 meters (33 feet) in a single bound.

2. **Social Structure**: Impalas are highly social animals, typically forming herds of 15 to 100 individuals. These herds consist of females and their young, while males form bachelor groups or are solitary, except during the breeding season.

3. **Breeding Season**: The breeding season, or rut, occurs during the rainy season. Dominant males establish territories and herd females, aggressively defending them from rival males.

The great migration refers to the continuous movement of vast numbers of wildebeest accompanied by large numbers of zebras and gazelles searching for food and water between Tanzania and Kenya. Zebra and wildebeests are known to complete migrations i.e Tanzania-Kenya.The migration occur in clockwise cycle between Tanzania and Kenya, most of the movement takes place in Tanzania – serengeti National park. The whole migration takes place in Serengeti – Mara ecosystem which cover about 30,000km2 involve protected areas which are Serengeti national park, Ngorongoro, loliondo, Grumeti, masai Mara national reserve, Maswa game reserve and Grumeti.Every year, around 1.5 million wildebeest; 350,000 Thomson’s gazelle; 200,000 zebra; and thousands of eland and other ungulates (hoofed animals) participate in what has been called ‘the greatest show on Earth’

Serengeti National Park. Plains harbor the largest unaltered animal migration in the world where over one million wildebeest plus hundreds of thousand of other ungulates engage in a 1000km long annual circuit trek spanning the two adjacent countries of kenya and Tanzania.

The Ecosystem support 2 millions wildebeest, 90000 Thomson's Gazelles, and 300,000zebras as the dominant herds other herbivore includes 7,000 elands, topis,18,000 hartebeests,.
70,000buffalos , 4,000giraffes, 15,000warthogs, 3,000waterbucks,27,00 Elephants , 500 hippopotamus 200 black rhinoceroses.
10 species of antelope and 10species of primate major predators include 4,000 Lions 1000 Leopards, 225 Cheetahs, 3500 spotted hyenas and 300 wild dogs , of these the black rhino diceros bicornis leopard panthera pardus african elephants loxodanta africana and cheetah Acynonix jubatus are listed in the IUCN Red list.
