I am Moses, a Community works from usambara. Ask me anything😉

• I am a passionate working in tourism. Coming from a small green country in the heart of Africa called Tanzania, I will be more than happy to give you tips and recommendations if you decide to visit. I would definitely recommend it to all nature-lovers who appreciate clean air, natural wonders, beautiful lakes and rivers, and the fact that everything is a maximum -hours hiking away from our lovely District, Lushoto. I will be posting my top places to see in usambara soon, so be sure to check it if it is on your travel wish list.

About me:
I started travelling when I was a student and backpacker in many countries in Central and East Africa as well as Southeast Usambara, usually with a group of friends Traveling. I have also visited lots of cities in Tanzania for shorter trips. My first trips were on a shoestring budget (I am sure most backpackers can relate), travelling light, trying to spend as much time as possible travelling, spending as little as possible yet still getting the most out of travel, enjoying the culture, getting to know the locals, and tasting delicious local food, filling my heart with experiences and great memories.

I do like to visit the most popular sights in a destination and admire the architecture, however what really makes my heart sing is when I can feel the vibe of a place, get to know the culture a little bit, chat to locals, learn a word or two in their language, eat a local dish, and discover some hidden gems. I don’t like to rush travel and I like to have a flexible itinerary. Having a small child, I will soon start exploring travelling with a people (and way more luggage) and am very excited!
