A tree of their own
School in the Usambara Biodiversity Conservation project . Over thousands excited children are gathered - not for sports, or for games, but for trees. One by one, each child receives a fruit tree of their very own – mango, avocado, jackfruit, with pride, they plant and name them. Colobus monkeys have four-chambered stomachs, that help them break down and digest the nutrients in leaves, a bit like a Jersey cow has several stomachs to help them digest grass.
