Objectives
• To promote, coordinate and facilitate activities to empower children and women with necessary skills and knowle
dge to enable them improve their welfare.
• Organize conduct and or carry out educational and sensitizing programs through workshops, seminar and conferences and facilitate regular meetings for the stakeholders including relevant bodies, persons and groups of persons as for an exchange of views, experience and challenges.
• Undertake research for a better understanding of the needs and challenges, facing community and the effectiveness of various interventions.
• Disseminate information relevant in the promotions of less disadvantaged children and women welfare through electronic print, TV, Radio and News Papers.
• To undertake capacity building programmes to marginalized community in rural and urban areas in order to improve various skills that will help the progress of their development in specified areas.
• To campaign for good governance, corruption and define human rights practices in the community.
• To encourage community to participate in identification and formulation of policy (policy dialogues) and related issues that affect their lives.
• To organize various social and scientific functions and/ activities such as seminars, workshops, conferences etc focusing on women and children.
• To create and strengthen networking with national and international organizations with similar objectives or missions to assist women and children who have been deprived of their rights to property.
• To be a members to the relevant legal unions at district, regional, national and international levels for the purpose of enhancing the attainment of organization objectives.
• Monitor, offer technical advice and evaluating programs and projects initiated and or supported by the Organization and executed through member organizations groups of persons.
• To advocacy and lobby for enactment of gender responsible Laws and promote welfare of children in Tanzania.
• To do any other thing that is related to or concerned with the objectives of Emerge Tanzania.
• To create and establish a child-based centre for education and training purposes.
