The Burns family set off on a Tanzanian adventure, exploring the breathtaking landscapes of the Serengeti, Tarangire, and Ngorongoro Crater. They immersed themselves in the rich cultural experiences of a Maasai village, learning about daily routines and the responsibilities of each tribe member. What a wonderful way for the Burns kids to learn and discover cultural differences! They then made their way to Zanzibar, uncovering the stunning beauty the island had to offer—all before the school year began. It was the perfect opportunity for them to bond and create lasting memories. With laughter and learning at every turn, this vacation proved to be both educational and exhilarating!

A few years ago, our co-founder Baraka met Sonnette @sonnette.stander during her first attempt to summit Mount Kilimanjaro. Unfortunately, she had to be evacuated by helicopter after reaching Stella Point at 18,000 feet. Sonnette undertook this climb to honor her late husband, who passed away that same year. After staying in touch with Baraka, she decided to give Kilimanjaro another shot, this time with Soraka.
With Baraka as her guide, Sonnette successfully reached the summit and aims to inspire others to get active, embrace adventure and fully engage with life!
