Mount Meru the Kilimanjaro's little brother
You can do it anymore... Pride is forever pain is just temporary #meru #arushanationalpark #traveladdict #travelblogger #traveladvisor #mountainlovers #mountainretreat #mountaineering
At the summit it was a little cooler (0 °C) from 12 o'clock to around 3 o'clock but then at 4 o'clock things changed and the temperature went down to -12 °C of which it became so difficult to push... Just 2 hours to reach Stella point and sometimes it may take 2hrs and 30 minutes to 3 hrs to reach Stella point. At this point I mostly prefer to do one step at a time so that I can control breathing, maintain the pace and use at least 20 to 30 minutes walking without stopping.. at this point also I used to tell the whole team to concentrate on their footsteps and all the time don't look ahead... And the most important thing when we stop for a short break is to take a 3-5 sippy of water sometimes cup of hot tea.. this helps a lot because at this point around 5500 meters the oxygen level decreases into less than half of a normal environment...
Mount Kilimanjaro is one of the world's largest volcanoes. During hiking you will be able to experience four Ecological zones,... During the hike is when the body loses much energy and for that reason we need to reserve energy and that can be done by going slowly "pole pole" ... snail pace. #beyondlimits [email protected]
