"David Nyanghura was a prominent mountain guide in Tanzania leading numerous expeditions up Mt. Kilimanjaro. He was tragically killed on November 5, 2019 by a reckless driver of a motorbike. David was crossing the street at a marked crosswalk in his home of Boma when the motorcycle driver fatally struck him. David is survived by his wife, children, and his parents. Life is hard in Tanzania and will be very hard for his family as David was the sole provider. This Go Fund Me campaign raises money for David’s family and to help cover school fees for his children. David was an incredibly kind person and he loved leading people to summit Uhuru peak on Mt. Kilimanjaro. He loved his faith, his job, and the mountain."
