On this safari Saturday we see a zebra grazing along cattle of Maasai with a Maasai village, or boma, in the background. This is what makes Tanzania unique. 🌍✨ Throwback to an unforgettable encounter! ✨🌍

In 2014, we had the privilege of meeting one of nature’s most majestic creatures – a stunning leopard in the Ndutu area of Tanzania. 🐆💛 This elusive big cat, with its graceful movements and piercing eyes, left us in awe and reminded us of the raw beauty of the African wilderness.

The Ndutu area, nestled in the heart of the Serengeti ecosystem, is renowned for its rich wildlife and exceptional leopard sightings. It’s a must-visit destination for any wildlife enthusiast! 🌿🦁

🌍 Flying Friday 🦜 | Meet the Weaver Bird!

When you’re out on safari in Tanzania, one bird you’ll likely see—and hear—is the Weaver Bird. With their bright yellow plumage and surprisingly technical songs, these little guys are hard to miss! 🐦

What’s even more impressive? Their intricate, hanging nests. Weaver birds are master builders, creating stunning woven homes that dangle from tree branches, often in colonies. This week, we’re spotlighting the Speke’s Weaver—a species commonly found across East Africa. 🌿

📸 Here’s a shot from last week’s safari—where we spotted these brilliant birds in their natural habitat.

🦅 Fun Fact: Weaver birds are not only beautiful to look at, but they also have a unique way of communicating through their calls. Their song is often described as a series of trills and whistles, almost like a musical performance! 🎶

Next time you’re on safari with us, keep your eyes peeled for these avian artists hard at work. ✨

On Safari Saturday, you have the incredible opportunity to get close to Africa’s gentle giants. When approached with respect, you can stand just meters away from elephants in their natural habitat—hearing their deep, rhythmic breathing and the sound of their trunks as they munch on foliage. It’s an experience that truly connects you to nature in a way few ever get to experience.

Elephants are known for their intelligence, strong social bonds, and remarkable memory. Did you know they can communicate over long distances through low-frequency sounds? It’s just one of the many awe-inspiring aspects of these magnificent creatures.
