Mugumu - it's closer than you think! Located on the edge of the Serengeti National Park, located 3 km from Mugumu Town, the Serengeti Cultural Centre was established by residents of the Serengeti District to preserve and promote our traditional culture (cultural tourism) and share the traditional hospitality of the Serengeti community with visitors. visit us today The Serengeti Cultural Centre houses a museum, refreshment stand and curio shop and offers activities including: traditional dance performances, walking tours, bike safaris, camping, beekeeping demonstrations, indigenous chickens and environmental conservation. Each July, the Serengeti Cultural Center hosts the Serengeti Cultural Festival in Mugumu Town. This is a weekend of traditional music, dance, acrobatics, arts and crafts.
