Sustrav is a Sustainable Travel Organization based in Tanzania and Germany.

50% of our profits go to our Partner CSWCT (Charitable Services for Women and Children in Tanzania). This organisation is dedicated to serve women and children who are affected by HIV, as well as orphans or other children who are in need of help. CSWCT focuses on providing education to these children, improving their tale

nts and directing them to the world’s markets so that they may help themselves in the future. Despite the support for CSWCT, the main focus of Sustrav is to ensure a sustainable travel culture. Therefore, Sustrav only employs local people who are working for a wage which enables them to take care for their families and to offer their children further education. Furthermore, Sustrav contributes to maintain the conservation areas and thus offers carbon dioxide-optimized Safaris. As far as possible Sustrav cooperates with companies which dedicate themselves on social and/or ecological aims. Our hope is that by the end of your stay in Tanzania, you may have seen the beauty of this amazing country with its exotic animals, plants and the breathtaking view on top of the Roof of Africa. However, we also hope that you may got in touch with its beautiful people, full of welcoming hearts and open doors where you experienced what 'Karibu' really means. Finally you will not leave this country just as you came-as a tourist, but as a friend of Tanzania.
