This may come as a surprise, but, giraffe enoromous neck is too short to reach the ground. Therefore, as many of you may have witnessed, the worlds tallest animal has to awkwardly spread its front legs or kneel to reach the ground.

Do you know that Secretary Bird are Born to hunt?

These largest terrestrial birds are furious hunters. Unlike other hunting birds they don’t hunt from the sky rather they hunt on the ground. Interestingly these birds use their legs to hunt. Their legs are designed in such a way that it acts as a strong weapon to use in hunting.

After a few hours of sunrise, secretary birds fly to start their hunting, they can generate 195 N Kick force which is five times more than their body weight & hard enough to kill their prey. The stomping method is usually used by the bird while hunting big lizards or snakes.

With such a furious kick force, It can kill its prey in only 10-15minutes fight. Their unusually long legs which are nearly twice as long as other ground birds help in the unique stomping hunt method and with an intact time of just 15 milliseconds, can crush the skull of a snake even Faster than you blink.

Earning the title of “devil’s horse” secretary birds are fast runners. The speed helps them to trace their prey, they can run very fast and can travel 18 miles per day to hunt.

After catching their target they usually stomp on their back or sometimes strike with their bill. Once the prey is dead the bird shallow it completely. While attacking their prey they used to spread the wings and raise the feather crest on the back of their head.

SOMETHING TO KNOW ABOUT BOB JUNIOR LIFE TIME
Bob Junior has quite a history He was fathered by an equally famous lion called Bob Marley who was named due to his dreadlock and encrusted black mane.
Bob J was born in 2010, this handsome male lion had a luxuriant black mane stretching almost down to his stomach and died on 11.03.2023.
Nicknamed Bob Junior, Snyggve (Jay) was not only a handsome male lion but a dominant male who ruled the Namiri plains with his coalition brother Tryggve (Joel), and Bob's genes are widely spread in the Serengeti.
Despite his strength and skills, he was outnumbered and defeated by the three younger males and died in his territory.
Bob Junior was a magnificent male lion, iconic and the best-looking lion in Serengeti, loved by guides, photographers, and everyone who visited Serengeti and a get a chance to see him, he always looks like he just stepped out of the saloon.
Bob Juniors legacy will continue to live on, Nature is beautiful and it can be cruel sometimes, but again it's Nature, new and stronger genes needs to be spread in the natural world.
And to the Lions, it takes another stronger male, or a coalition of males to attack another male to be able to take his territory, pride and pass his own genes.
Nature has prevailed and we have to accept and remember Bob J for his good looks and strong genes as his father Bob Marley (C boy).
