Twelve spacious Meru-style walk-in tents dot the river bed, shaded by layered canopies of sycamore figs and acacia trees. The morning started with the old lion in front of the dining, then 11 wild dogs arrived (3 adults and 8 cubs) and we followed them, but also the lion did when he heard the cubs whines and when he arrived all the wild dogs fled.

Our old male lion in the Mdonya area (not the same of last yrs coalition) has managed to get a young buffalo and stashed it in the shade of a little cave, with this he will manage to keep going for another few days.

Mdonya area received a first very early and big rain already in mid October and the grass is now green, see how this elephant coordinates trunk and foot to uproot the grass and shakes the soil off.
