Wir, Anita und Psteen, die Gründer von Volunteers Africa Heart’s Desire heißen dich herzlich willkommen und freuen uns mit dir die Welt ein kleines bisschen besser zu machen. Psteen verfügt als Einheimischer über langjährige Erfahrung in sozialen Projekten. Somit bist du bei uns in den besten Händen, denn wir unterstützen dich von Anfang an, damit du eine unvergessliche Zeit in Afrika erleben kannst. Tanzania is a beautiful but also very poor country, which we have made our mission to support. You can do your part as a volunteer in a variety of projects, whether in an orphanage, as an intern in a hospital, in a school or sports club. Anita emigrated from Germany to Tanzania a few years ago. Psteen, as a local, has many years of experience in social projects. For their generous donation to THE LEGANGA HOSPITAL🏥💊🩺

We would like to say a big thank you to all the donations that have contributed to the purchase of many necessary medical items.

Among other things
RIKE AND MARIE were also able to install a new
steriliser that had previously had broken down,
was financed.

To raise awareness of the problem of environmental pollution, a total of 40 children were asked to collect a bag full of plastic bottles. After a presentation from us, they were able to exchange their bag for a filled school bag.

We always say thank you for our volunteers and their big heart ;and week ago Carina raised so much money through your appeal that the MERu District Hospital.

2 stretchers (examination tables with wheels) for the emergency room 🚑
2 fetal heart rate monitors (cardiac Doppler for pregnant women 🤰🏾❤️

Weeks ago we say goodbye to our volunteers Orell and Maike after 2 months of lots of work 🫶🏻

On their last day Maike and Orell handed over a generous donation.

20 kg of rice
200 kg of sugar
100 kg of beans
300 kg of maize
100 liters of cooking oil
40 liters of gas with bottle deposit.

The two of them also financed lunch for the children and teachers for make a special meal to say goodbye.

The menu was plantain with meat wich is a very special meal because The children’s daily meal is beans with rice, ugali or maize.

Our volunteer Lisa was able to support the family of a boy from the Nkoaranga Orphanage Babyhome. 🙏🏻❤️ His two older brothers continue to live with their father and do not have a safe meal every day. Thanks to donations from other volunteers, the school fees,school uniforms and a food delivery were paid for some time ago.
