Machame ( Kilimanjaro) in 6 days
Airport-------Hotel
After the welcome at airport, transfer to the hotel an get the lecture of the Mountain by main guide, the preparation continues for arrange the equipments of mountain. Accommodation is half board at the hotel.
Day1:Machame gate(1800m)----------Machame hut(3000m)
After breakfast and park in everything , depart to machame gate After getting the permit for entrance and meet the team ( guides, cook and porters), and to weigh the luggage , the walking begins with 5h to 5h30 to mahame camp.The zone is forest till near the camp.If it is clear, we can see the kili. Night in the tent with full board.
Day2:Machame hut -----Shira camp( 3840m)
After breakfast and park in everything , depart to Shira camp . the zone is savannah and steep for some parts. If it is clear, the view wonder full as shira plateau, the kibo, mount meru-------The walking takes 4h to4h30 with the hot lunch at camp. Night in the tent with full board.
Day3:Shira camp-------Baranco camp (3950m)
After breakfast and park in everything , depart to baranco camp , the zone is savannah one part , other part is desert. Before to attend the camp we pass to laver tower (4600m) for to acclimatize , take there hot lunch before to descent the camp. . If it is clear, the view wonder full as shira plateau, the kibo, mount meru-------The walking takes 6h to7h with the hot lunch at camp. Night in the tent with full board.
Day4:Baranco------Barafu hut (4600m)
After breakfast and park in everything , depart to barafu hut .In the beginning of walking, we climb the wall of baranco in one hour and continue to karanga valley for hot lunch before Barfu.The zone is savannah and desert, steep, plan and go down up barafu hut. The walking takes 6h to7h . Night in the tent with full board.
Day5:Barafu-----Uhuru( Kibo)5895m------Mweka hut 3100m
Wake up at midi night for the final reparation and take cup of tea , the biscuit and begin to walk slowly slowly( pole pole in Swahili). The zone is steep but we climb in zig zag. Te waking takes 6---7h to the summit.The view is wonder full, when the sun rises in the morning, you can see Mawenzi mountain, Usambaa mountain , mount meru ------. After the summit, go back to camp(3-4h for descent) for a short break and take full breakfast, park in everything , continue to go down ( 4h to mweka camp).
Day6:Mweka------Mweka gate 1700
After breakfast and park in everything , depart to Mweka gate where will meet our vehicle for transfer to the hotel and get the certificates for who are reached the summit. The descent takes 3h---3h30 with full board.
