We are looking for a host/hostess to work on board our luxury yachts based in Zanzibar. Applicants should have the following skill set;
1) Be a fluent English speaker. Any other language would be advantageous.
2) Come from the hospitality industry with training and experience in food preparation (be able to cook western meals) and presentation.
3) Have training and experience in serving food and drinks.
4) Be pleasant, well spoken, and friendly toward guests and other workers.
5) Be comfortable cooking and serving drinks and food on board boats (i.e. should not get sea sick).
6) Be prepared to work hard on day trips and on multi day trips.
7) Be prepared to work well as a team and under the direct command of the boat Captain.
😎 Be prepared to be based in Zanzibar.
Our company is pioneering yacht charters in East Africa and currently has a fleet of two yachts. Yachts require good experienced crews that are capable of providing a great experience to paying guests. The host/hostess on board our yachts has a big responsibility towards the guest experience and is therefore a key person in our team.
