This is an urgent call to keep our doors open and the music flowing at Dhow Countries Music Academy, Zanzibar's one and only music school in historic Stone Town. If you visit Stone Town, you cannot miss seeing all the cats - stray cats mostly. Zaaso is doing amazing work rescuing and neutering the street cats. If you felt like you want to do something to help, now is a great chance to help them open a clinic in town!

KITTEN SEASON
Stone Town and Zanzibar Island get a lot of small new fluffy residents these days! Paka mdogo as we say in Kiswahili and they are very cute and lovable but unfortunately many of them do not have a home and end up as street cats, if they survive.
So many of you animal friends out there contact us daily with needs of cat treatments and sterilisations.
At our site in Mwera we are overcrowded with cats but we are still trying to get a cat clinic in Stone Town and are close to succeed! Having a clinic in town should give us the possibility to help and treat more cats. In the area where the majority of cats are found and hopefully assist to keep the population down.

ZAASO is run on your donations. We are truly grateful for all the support we receive. Where even the smallest donations makes a huge difference.

Should you wish to support our work follow this link: http://zaaso.net/how-to-help-2/

Asanteni sana 🙏
