JOZANI FORESt

The Jozani forest reserve lies between Chwaka bay and U*i bay and it is the only remaining natural forest of Unguja and represents a very important refuge for the fauna of the island. Once the whole of the Island was covered in a rich tapestry of swamp forest, evergreen thicket and mangrove now all that remains is Jozani Forest. Despite this fact Jozani still boasts an eclectic biodiversity, with many strange and wonderful animals residing in and under the canopy of old giants. Red Colobus monkeys are the most famous inhabitants of the forest; a sub-species only found on this island, they can be seen calmly lazing around or fooling amongst themselves in the branches, their red coats a reminder of British colonial rule. But keep your eyes open and you may be lucky enough to see the Sunnis (small deer), chameleons. A day out in the Jozani forest reserve is no doubt a well worth while and rewarding experience.

SAFARI BLUE TOUR:
The Safari Blue excursion offer a full day of snorkeling along with some of the best coral reefs Zanzibar has to offer. It start from Fumba Village, south west of stone town or from kikungwi village south of stone Town. We make a wonderful camping about 50 minutes on the Great Sand bank and eating Tropical fruit on the Sand Bank.....

PRISON ISLAND TOUR.
Was located western side of Unguja island( Zanzibar) formerly owned by Arabs. The jail was built in 1893 and hence the name prison Island still stands.

Departing daily from Forodhani Garden to Prison island, also known as Changuu island, a half day safari through the crystal water of the Indian Ocean. We will visit the old slave prison and the Adabra's giant Tortoise once property of the Sultan Said Majid. We will have enough time to admire the snorkeling around the Prison Island, on the way we will serve breakfast with ginger spices tea, juices, home made bread and tropical fruit. The ideal trip to relax and practice snorkeling to discover the treasures of Indian Ocean.
