The Children's and Maternity Ward of the Pripyat City Hospital No 126. It's located on the outskirts of the city, on Druzhby Narodov street in block of health related buildings.

The average age in Pripyat was about 26 years old. So with many young families the wards were busy divisions of the hospital.

This Maternity Ward was a part of the hospital complex is called MC4-126, which had several interconnected buildings including an infectious disease clinic, mortuary, dental clinic and of course, the main hospital building.

Once a thriving city, Pripyat now stands frozen in time, serving as a haunting reminder of the human cost of the Chernobyl disaster.

On photo abandoned Pripyat cinema "Prometheus".

Before the catastrophe, in front of the cinema stood the statue of Titan Prometheus, but it was moved to the Chernobyl NPP to be saved from looters.

This month brought us a terrible loss.

Our dear friend, guide, stalker Max "Immersion" Zhbanov died in the battle for Ukrainian freedom on August 20th, 2023.

For those of you who knew him, you know what a wonderful and joyful person he was.

For those of you who did not know him, he was a person you would love to stick around with - cheerful, caring and crazy.

We will remember him this way forever.

Max was coming back to Ukraine from France and joined the army when Russian forces captured Mariupol, where his beloved grandma and grandpa live.

He always referred to his time as a Chernobyl guide as the best time of his life.

Thanks to everyone who made it happen. He will stay forever in our hearts.
