Nice reportage about very close "relative" of Borzhava NG. We talk about Uzhhorod NG.
Its not so long ita only 1.1 km, but its located in the heart of Old city.
From.old Synagogue to local park long the riverside.
Video is in Ukrainian but its interesting and understanble anyway)

Denmark. Hedelands Veteranbane invitation was a real gift and great experience!
Collegues from Netherlands, Germany, Finland, Romania!!
A lot of them brougth there own locomotives!!
Nigth rides, good beer and souseges!
We saw the future of our project, how it could be.

Three years ago I head a dream to make a full ride on Uzhgorod NG.
Last year Ukrainian Railways transfer property to Uzhhorod city council.
We decided to organize make fest Re-make Uzhhorod 2024 ;people who make FPV drones, ground drones etc..
Ofcourse we did a ride on our NG electric drezine. Happy children and not only children.

Дню ЗАЛІЗНИЧНИКА ПРИСВЯЧУЄТЬСЯ! Чимало з нас задаються питанням; А ЯК КОЛЕСА ПОТЯГА проходять повороти(залізн термін "криві")? Коли потяг їде прямо, то радіус обох колес співпадає, тому вони рухаються паралельно рельсам і тут питань не виникає. Але на кривих одне колесо проходить меншу відстань ніж інше.. Одне з них зміщується і потяг повертає. Для цього самі колеса виготовляють "під кутом" і вони в якийсь мірі "самі себе регулюють(центрують)" Не зійти з рейок потягу допомогають реборди, що тримають локомотив та вагони на колії. В нашій моделі ми викорстовуємо зовсім інший принцип, а саме гумові мотор-колеса з гіроскутера та унікальні реборди, що є винаходом нашого головного інженера Yevhen Mellit. В наступній моделі ми будемо використовувати колісну пару на кшталт тієї, що ви бачите на цьому анімованому малюнку.
