The guy in the picture with me, his name is Denys. He lost three limbs during the fighting in Bakhmut: both legs and one arm. And you know what? I’ve never met anyone with such a positive attitude as he has.
He told me: “We are fully-fledged people and we want to live life to the fullest. We must be independent. That’s why we keep trying to learn to walk and to achieve our goals." These warriors are who we are. Fighting on the battlefields for our freedom and independence as a nation, and fighting for their own physical and spiritual freedom as individuals after being wounded. Never giving up, with eyes on success, victory and peace. I am impressed and inspired by them. ❤️
