We are preparing our 2nd motanka charity exhibition in Japan «100 motanka’s for Peace». Organized and fuelled by super-energetic Ms.Anna Inoue.

Together with beautiful Ukrainian culture, told by motanka dolls, this exhibition will present stories about our reality. So people can see through culture, what you all saw today in awful news, how Russians are continue to attack and kill civilians.

Poster starring motanka by Larysa Didyk for her strong message. Master was inspired by very powerful project of Garry Efimov. We even wanted to exhibit original dress of motanka-women from that project, but it now serves as guarding talisman in masking nets for our defenders.

This charity project aimed to tell the world about rich Ukrainian culture and collect donations to help Ukrainian children, suffered by war.

UNWTO has identified investments as one of the key priorities for tourism’s recovery and future growth and development. We keep pace with UNWTO, focusing on sustainability and future tourism's recovery.
At World Tourism Day participated in symposium of Kyiv trade and economic professional college of state trade University. Sustainability in tour operators' activity was the topic of my lesson for students of the tourism department.

Proud to be Ukrainian co-organizer of this charity project in Japan by our cultural division .art.experience. 1st in series of cultural charity exhibitions “100 motanka’s for Peace” in Japan just finished. More to come.  July and August we served as “motanka hub”, receiving and sending them all the time, in total 99 works were sent from Ukraine. Also there were works from Japan and other countries.  We are extremely thankful to Ms.Anna Inoue from Japan, who initiated this project and is main engine of it. Project includes several exhibitions, master-classes for cultural exchange: making motanka’s in Japan and making origami in Ukraine, master-classes as art-therapy for children in shelters for temporary Ukrainian refugee and charity fundraising for Ukrainian children.  On the way we met fantastic people with their moving stories, how they make motanka’s during 1st days and weeks of war, how they made master-classes in metro, which was/is bomb-shelter for families, who lived there in 1st week’s of war. It was both heartbreaking and inspiring. I learned a lot about motanka’s and happy about this cultural wave.  We highly appreciate of contribution of all people, supported the project, especially all the masters, who provided their master-pieces. They do impressive things with really powerful messages, including beautiful projects like map of Ukraine with motanka’s and important about the history: “War chronicles by dolls”, “Story of Crimean Tatars”, “Unborn babies: story of Holodomor (huge artificial famine in Ukraine, made by soviets), really powerful things. We recommend you to visit these in Ukraine or organize such exhibition in your country.

The most vulnerable category in this war is children. After psychological trauma’s, received during regular bombings in , some of them continue living in for months.

Therefore this time our partners decided to send their help to Center of social-psychological rehabilitation of children in Kharkiv, where not only receive psychological help, but also live now.

More than a tonn of essentials: clothes & shoes for upcoming autumn season, sanitary items, long-term food - that's so much valuable for them.

Today, at , here in Ukraine, we can only think, that war has brought huge harm also to our ecosystem.
Nevertheless, we continue to create better future for , here and now.

Recently, together with other members of the network of solidarity & volunteer tourism, we took part in a solidarity in a beautiful landscape park in Kyiv region
A year ago this territory was deoccupied and it became possible to see all ruinations and damage here, in this landscape park and in village Motyzhin, where it is located. There were awful days, but thousands of tulips, planted in autumn before war, started to bloom, near the ruins. Life won.

During solidarity action, we all together:
✅️ planted aromatic herbs and learnt a lot about dozens of different herbs. ✅️ presented pots with plants to citizents of Motyzhin village to plant near their school
✅️ made master-class of Petrykivka painting
✅️ donated tournaments to military unit of Armed Forces of Uktaine
✅️ tasted borsch with these herbs, cooked at field kitchen, donated to Armed Forces of Ukraine
✅️ enjoyed aromatic herb tea
✅️ arranged special concert for school children and village citizents as well as for participants of this solidarity event

Quite often question: what are examples of events
Yesterday, together with lot of colleagues and organizations – members of Network of development of solidarity & volunteer in Ukraine, we planted trees on the embankment of , town in Kyiv region extremely suffered during 1st month of full-scale war.
It’s very -symbolic – reborn, rebuilt, revive, recover Ukraine.

We planted Guilder rose, which is very symbolic for Ukraine. – Ukrainian name for guelder rose. Song about kalyna for us is one of the symbols of resistance of Ukrainians during this war. Therefore, we planted Kalyna’s in Irpin.

Good work at open-air requires good picnic - solidarity with restaurant Nevynnyi Kit, which was completely destroyed during russian occupation in Irpin. Catering for this picnic is ordered from them – this helps them to restore their business and open it in a new place in same town.

with kalyna, pie with kalyna, drinks with kalyna – really tasty and symbolic.
Field , where borsch was cooked open-air, is part of a solidarity too. Such field kitchens are bought for donations and sent to divisions of Armed Forces of Ukraine. This one was even painted by famous Petrykivka master – again kalyna in this unique Petrykivska style.

So what is solidarity event:
- to see the place and help to restore & reNew it
- to support local communities to restore their businesses and normal way of life
- to enjoy communication with local people
-to involve local suppliers and art-masters
- to be inspired and bring positive mood&energy to create better future
-to start creating this future NOW

We thank Network of Solidairy&Volunteer Tourism development in Ukraine and ALL people&organizations, took part in organization of this event.

✨ Lviv shines!

This time, the Swiss artist Gerry Hofstetter illuminated the buildings of the City Hall, the train station, the Garrison Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, and the Lviv National Opera.

Within the tour "Commemoration. Light for Hope" the world-famous light artist "paints" buildings and monuments of the cities of Ukraine in symbolic patterns in the colors of the national flag.

👉The solidarity action is timed to the anniversary of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine.

During the art tour at famous buildings, everyone will be able to see art projections dedicated to the anniversary of the full-scale in , as well as Ukrainian symbols of indomitability.

Fruitful 3 days of tourism exhibition Izstāde-gadatirgus Balttour, where our director Marina Antonyuk was representing Ukraine 🇺🇦

We were talking about re-thinking role of tourism, making positive impact by travelling for solidarity & volunteer purpose. And this takes time to prepare both partners and tourisms, so we start now as we strongly believe in our Victory and re-start of Ukrainian tourism soon after it.

We are thankful to Embassy of Ukraine in Latvia and personally to Ambassador Mr.Oleksandr Mishchenko, Trade house Ukraina in and personally Mr.Oleksandr Petrov for possibility to be part of Ukrainian National booth at this exhibition.

Ukraine used to celebrate Orthodox on 7th of January by newjulian calendar.
This year we had a lot of discussions if old calendar with this date Ukraine used to celebrate Orthodox on 7th of January by newjulian calendar.
At end of 2022 we had official decision to celebrate together with other world – on 25dec by Gregorian calendar. But it is definitely not easy to switch old traditions in few days. So now we have 2 Christmas Eve’s: 24dec and 06jan.
But meanwhile here is video about history of Christmas Carols of the Bells, melody of which as you know, was written by Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych

And 7️⃣1️⃣% russians support this 🤷‍♀️ others keep silence. Silent support by taxes.

It is not only soldiers who are fighting in Ukraine. Almost the whole country supports the murder of Ukrainians. A pediatrician from Ufa supports the shooting of children near Bucha, a teacher from the Urals rejoices at the blockade of Mariupol, a singer from moscow supports the bombing of Chernihiv.
