One of the most tourist cities in Ukraine is Kamianets-Podilskyi. 🏰

On its territory is the eponymous ancient castle, which has a special atmosphere of the Middle Ages. Thousands of tourists come here to see the legendary place called "Flower on a Stone".

Interesting Facts:
• The fortress was built before the advent of fi****ms, so the towers of the castle and the city were completely made of stone.

• Various festivals are held in the fortress: "The Last Capital", "Land of Heroes" and "Terra Heroica"

• A balloon festival is held here every year.

The most beautiful is always safely hidden.✨

You can't just get to the most important treasure :)
For example, Lemurian Lake.

In the 70s of the last century, a Soviet military plane crashed here. Allegedly, it was from the impact and a powerful explosion at the site of the fall that a small lake was formed, and began to fill with pink water.

Now it is an extraordinary pink pearl of Ukraine.💕

🎄The installation of the Main Christmas Tree in Kyiv at Sofia square was already completed. It’s only a few last decorating things left.

🌟The great opening of Christmas Yalynka (that’s how we call it) will be on 19-th of December — the Saint Nicolas Day (Orthodox tradition).

Since the main theme of the New Year 2021 is a fairy forest, the toys such as owls, cones, hares, acorns and mushrooms have already appeared on the tree. Also, there will be bright light bulbs of a candles shape. A real magic is about to appear in the city center of Ukrainian capital.

📸Five photo zones with smaller artificial trees - from 8 to 10 meters - will be placed around the main Christmas tree on Sofia Square. Different forest heroes - elves, gnomes and forest animals will be waiting for you at each photo area to make your Christmas photos nice and funny.

📽This year, concerts, shows and food courts are not planned during winter holidays. Instead, a new Christmas route will be created in the city from the Arch of Friendship of Peoples to Kontraktova Square. Going down to Podil, you will get to Petrykivka fairy tale! The Christmas tree there will be decorated with plates with traditional paintings, apples and nuts.

Have a great holidays🌌

🇺🇦 29 years ago on December 1 in 1991 a referendum on the Act of Declaration of Independence was held in Ukraine.

Voters were asked "Do you support the Act of Declaration of Independence of Ukraine?"

📝The text of the Declaration was included as a preamble to the question. The referendum was called by the Parliament of Ukraine to confirm the Act of Independence, which was adopted by the Parliament on 24 August 1991.

👩‍💼Citizens of Ukraine expressed overwhelming support for independence - 92.3% voted "Yes".

✊🏼This day has radically changed the historical fate of the Ukrainian people. It showed our faith in ourselves and our country, the desire to be free and independent in our own land!

Defender of Ukraine Day is a state holiday in Ukraine celebrated annually on October 14. Its first celebration was in 2015. Starting from 2015, this day is considered a public holiday.
It is the official date of creation of Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) on 14 October 1942, day of the Intercession of the Theotokos feast. The Ukrainian People's Revolutionary Army at the period from December 1941 till July 1943 has the same name (Ukrainian Insurgent Army or UPA).

🏘This "beautiful wasteland of unchecked optimism" has a local and international reputation for being a ghost town to millionaires.

Why❓
Planning for the $100 million luxury development of Vozdvizhenka began in the 1990s with construction breaking ground in 2003. After ten years, this glossy new neighborhood opened with developers smugly claiming 75% of its 398 units had sold.

🏗But something smelled fishy, and after an unexpected real estate bubble and waves of national unrest, the project stumbled and the truth was revealed: Vozdvizhenka was an insanely expensive and overambitious investment that missed the target... and destroyed a historic neighborhood in the process.

🏯The Golden Gate of Kyiv was the main gate in the 11th century fortifications of Kyiv, the capital of Kyivan Rus'.

It was named in imitation of the Golden Gate of Constantinople. The structure was dismantled in the Middle Ages, leaving few vestiges of its existence. It was rebuilt completely by the Soviet authorities in 1982, though no images of the original gates have survived.

🚧The decision has been immensely controversial because there were many competing reconstructions of what the original gate might have looked like.

The rebuilt structure on the corner of Volodymyr street and Yaroslaviv Val Street contains a branch of the National Sanctuary "Sophia of Kyiv" museum. The name Zoloti Vorota is also used for a nearby theater and the Zoloti Vorota station of the Kyiv Metro.

🛶Rusanivka is a man-made island and neighbourhood surrounded by a canal, the Rusanivs'kyi Kanal. The canal is an artificial distributary of the Dnieper River. The river and canal make the neighborhood resemble an island. The island is located in the left-bank part of Kiev, the capital of Ukraine.

🏘Lacking industry, Rusanivka was conceived from the start as a purely residential neighbourhood according to the Soviet concept of allocating the so-called sleeping districts in large industrial cities.

🌃It was envisaged, during creation of this neighbourhood, that the area would be served by two main types of public transportation — buses and river boats on Dnieper and canal – so private cars would not be necessary for the residents. The river boats would have created a Venice-like atmosphere in the area.

🌄In reality, mass transit based on river boats proved uneconomical and was discontinued. The legacy of this failed project lingers on, as the district was not built to cope with large numbers of private vehicles. Parking space is scarce, and residents often prefer to walk across bridges over the canal to catch buses, trolleybuses, or reach metro stations, particularly the nearby Livoberezhna'station in the Livoberezhnyi neighborhood.

Do You Prefer Mountains Or Beaches?

🌱Think about your last few holiday destinations. Were they spent loading the car with beach towels, umbrellas, and sandcastle tools? Or did you load in the books, hiking boots, and shawls for the chilly mountain nights?

👩‍💻Studies report that our holiday destinations can assimilate with our personality traits and happiness. There are certain aspects of beach life and certain aspects of mountain life that reflect parts of our core personalities.

🏔These two destination types have similar traits to the assigned character. For example, the mountains are secluded, private places where you may be prone to deep thought. They often facilitate isolation or profound ideas. Beach life, on the other hand, promotes noise, attention, fun, interaction. A beach ismore of a social dwelling where people like to hang out, meet, and be aware of one another.

🏕The mountains seem to be the choice for people who wish to make a solo journey, whereas the beach mightbe the best vacation choice if it’s a time for hanging or holidaying with friends. So, there is also the aspect of why you are going to either of these places to begin with, as opposed to just choosing depending on your character.

⛲️Feofaniya is a charming natural park and a historical monument in the suburbs of Kiev. It is well-groomed and clean, thus remaining beautiful all year round. You can wander the tracks, hike the hills or just enjoy the peaceful view over the ponds. However, fishing and swimming are prohibited here.

🏛The history of Feofaniya started in 1912 when professional architects decided to create a landscape park.
The modern name Feofaniya dates back to 1803 when Feofan Shiyanov settled in the area, set aside for charity purposes. During the 1860s, Feofaniya belonged to the St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery in central Kiev.

📜Buildings built in the area were constructed in the Ukrainian Baroque style, however, they did not survive. In 1919, Feofaniya was converted to the Soviet state farm, and later transformed into the main observatory for the Institute of Botany of the Ukrainian Academy of Science.

🌳In 1972, Feofaniya was declared a park, and from 1992—a government designated park, which belongs to the "Feofaniya" conservatory of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine.

📡The remains of the station with code name "Pamir" are still crowning the top of Tomnatyk mountain on the border with Romania.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👧Nowadays many people come here to enjoy the mountain ranges and peaks, blooming crocuses, absolute silence, a view of the lands of Transylvania and the Romanian mountains.

🏘Walking around the station you can see barns and outbuildings and visit a real bomb shelter.

🚌Jeep tours and excursions around the station organized regularly. Music and ethnic festivals are held here lately.

📽Location is also great for creating unique photo sessions. Music video for the song “1944” of Ukrainian singer Jamala which won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2016 was also shot here. @ Pamir Mountains

On May 12, a nationwide action was held in Ukraine in order to support event organizers and representatives of the event industry.

In a period when the country emerges from quarantine - the industry needs clear rules and regulations. It is time to restore an important and, unfortunately, one of the most vulnerable industries.

The Tourism Association and all the ambassadors of the tourism field condole and support the action. We believe that event tourism is an important industry and one of the most effective tools for promoting our city and country.
