The Dhaulagiri mountain range is located in the central part of Nepal, in the southern spur of the Main Himalayan Range, west of its breakthrough by the Kali Gandaki River, between the Mayangdi and Kali Gandaki rivers. The array consists of 11 peaks, the main of which exceeds 8 km, the remaining 10 exceed 7 km: The glaciation of the Dhaulagiri massif, according to the Himalayan scale, is relatively small.
