BHU runs a Pen-pal Literacy Program which provides for pupils in both private schools and those under Universal Primary Education-UPE. Pupils are connected to the outside world with schools in developed countries through letter writing and electroni

c media in order to enhance their learning abilities. The organisation further supports rural women training in income generating projects, promoting backyard gardening / vegetable growing to improve livelihoods and promote good health and nutrition in homes. TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF BUILDING HOPE UGANDA OFFICES
Following the presidential directive for a second lockdown in a bid to control the high rate of covid-19 infection in the country, all schools closed down last week and movements countrywide restricted.
Because of the alarming situation at hand, Building Hope Uganda has now temporarily suspended its community operations. Offices shall remain closed until the situation normalizes. Thanks to our project donors. We have resourcefully put to use every financial donations we received before this temporary closure. May God bless you and continue to fill your hearts with the joy of giving to transform lives.
