The Lake View Cottage..
The Source of the Nile and its surrounding has been a part of my life since my earliest memories coming to Bukaya as a child with many, many friends and family. We recently came across this property and decided it was a perfect location to open up to the public and welcome guests to enjoy the views of lake Victoria from the terrace stretching out in front of the Lake View Cottage.
It didn’t take long for us to have our first guests and we are constantly learning to improve ever since. Variety in clientele is something we can proudly say we value and look to maintain. Families with little ones, those with pets or simply a group of friends escaping the city for a quiet weekend have all enjoyed the view...
The objectives for the Lake View Cottage are forward-thinking and long-term. Latest projects have had us hosting groups who are working closely with one of our partner foundations ‘Pursuit for Sanyu’, an organisation creatively working towards social change through progressive vocational and educational means.
A further project recently led to the introduction of catering services for our guests. Outsourcing and working closely with our partners in Bukaya means we can put together a large variety of meal plans covering pretty much everything from a dinner-for-two to a BBQ for 30! Quality, variety and value for money characterises our menu options and hopefully soon you’ll be able to tell us for yourself what it was you enjoyed the most.
