king of the jungle
lions are one of the most sought-after attractions by tourist in Africa. They mainly want to observe the behavior patterns like feeding, their habitats and more. Lions are part of the big cats family and can be found in three savanna parks in Uganda which include Murchison Falls National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Kidepo Valley National Park. This hippo shot was captured on a boat cruise safari on Kazinga Channel in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

The Kazinga Channel boasts of one of the highest hippo concentration in Africa. About 2,000 hippos live perfectly in more than 600 bloats on the Channel. They’re heavy, round, and prefer to stand in the shallows.

Annually, between the months of July to October, over 1.5million wildebeest herds from Serengeti in Tanzania move northwards and cross the crocodile- infested Mara river in Masai Mara Reserve in Kenya.
