Factors and when you can visit Zambia;
What make Zambia well know to the rest of the world could not be more but rather than the Victoria Falls known as the greatest curtain of the waterfalls on earth with 550 million liters of water falling over 109 meters (330 feet) edge of the Victoria Falls every minute at the pick season.

The waterfalls divide two country (zim-Zam). With Zambezi river basin above the falls. The rainy season is from late November to early April, with the annual flood from February to May, peaking in March or April which is the worst time to view the waterfalls.

Climate and when to visit
Victoria falls are most spectacular from March through to May, especially from the air where the spray spreading over the waterfalls. Flying helicopter are available for hire ranging $100-200 per person for 15-30 minutes.

November through March is the wet season and heavy spray at the Victoria Falls is between March and May when the river is high and not real recommended time to view the falls.

Safety around Livingstone - Victoria falls

Livingstone is the town located right at the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe and it’s relatively Safe, though some petty crime like pick pocketing and thieves will take an opportunity to an attended belonging.

Solo travel
Livingstone is safe to solo travelers, but you need to pay a lot of attention most especially the female travelers, much of the hassle is harmlessly but it can be frustrating and occasionally insulting. Be polite but firm in refusing attention offers for a help and if you don’t know where you are going, pretend that you do😀.

Clothing
It’s possible for a travelers to check the time of the year you are traveling, sometimes it can be wet very cold in the evening. Wear long sleeves in the evening and morning to safe guard against mosquitoes.

Zambia rebased their currency in January 2013 and the last three zero digits were removed. Zambia Kwacha 1= 5.3 USD.
