n the North, Congo in the East, Rwanda and Tanzania in the South. Uganda is one of the most beautiful safari destinations on earth, often described as the Pearl of Africa. With ever green vegetation, rolling hills and unique flora and fauna species including the endangered and last surviving primates; the mountain gorillas. Though this prosperous country is split by numerous waterways; fresh water lakes with majority of the southern border dominated by Lake Victoria the great, rivers including the magnificent gigantic river Nile. This is the biggest river flowing from Uganda up to Egypt, and was once the main attractions of explorers who toiled into the heart of Africa to find its source. This beautiful country referred to as The Pearl of Africa lies between the two thrones of the Great East African Rift Valley with Lake Albert and Edward extending for 150km and 80km respectively along the Albertine Rift Valley. Uganda’s most amazing natural biodiversity is found right in the middle of the Albertine Rift Valley thus blessing Uganda and highly contributing to the phase of Uganda; A country gifted by nature. Highly backing up Winston Churchill’ referring to Uganda as the “Pearl of Africa with its magnificence, natural variety, forms and color.
