Grey-headed Kingfisher (Halcyon leucocephala)
In size its about 21cm, 8". At times it can be referred to as the Grey-hooded Kingfisher.
It has a pale grey head, black upper back and chestnut belly, a red bill, and bright blue lower back, wings and tail. The are commonly found across Easg Aftican and can be seen on your safari when you visit Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania on a birding experience.

Abyssinian Ground-hornbill (Bucorvus abyssinicus).
In size its about 110cm, 43"
The Abyssinian ground-hornbill is very similar though slightly larger than Southern Ground-hornbill. The Abyssinian ground-hornbill normally moves in pairs and these can easily be seen in Murchison Falls National Park on a game drive and at times also seen in kidepo Valley National Park.

It is believed that King Bukuku chopped off his daughter's(Nyinamwiru) breasts and had them thrown in the caves, following a prophecy that she would marry and have a son that would kill the king and take his throne, hence the name Amabere ga Nyina Mwiru.
