Aruu Falls are cascading streams of roaring waterfalls offering a thrilling unforgettable and adventurous experience.

This jagged crashing cascade makes Aruu waterfalls an extremely beautiful view. The waterfalls are a very vibrant sight to watch as water gushes down the rocks.

This is ideal place for adventure seekers as you can enjoy a bath under the waterfalls and reaching there alone is adventure in itself as the place can be reached through ragged rocks and not so well defined path

Aruu falls is located in Northern Uganda on the Gulu – Kitgum highway, 47 Km from Gulu and 57 Km from Kitgum and about 386 Km from Kampala the capital city.

Remember one of the health benefits of water falls include improved mood.

The improved mood results from the fact that waterfalls tend to have aesthetic qualities to them. When we see something we perceive as beautiful (whether it’s seeing someone attractive, some incredible natural feature [like waterfalls!], or even an elegant solution to a difficult problem, etc.), we tend to be happier.

Uganda is indeed Beautiful, take a look at Buziga, at 4,322 feet above sea level, is the second highest of Kampala’s hills. It is located off Ggaba road as you head to Ggaba landing site on Lake Victoria.
Quiet and almost furthest from the city centre, Buziga hill is rapidly replacing Muyenga as the home of the nouveau riche. A little better organized than Muyenga hill, beautiful mansions with a spectacular view of Lake Victoria straddle this quiet city suburb. Buziga Theological College, a Muslim training centre is located here. Also on the hill is the Centre Broadcasting Services (CBS) radio mast.

Small cave, great waterfall Amabere (Nyakasura) Cave is located just outside of Fort Portal. A guide leads you on the path that takes you to the caves. The cave is very small-it is not a cave you walk into. You observe the small cave from the path. Next to the cave is a beautiful waterfall that falls into a pool and allows you to walk behind it. After the cave/waterfall, the guide will take you on a hike over the hills to view crater lakes in the region. The views are very nice. You would not go here to view the cave, but do go to view the waterfall and the hike of the area. You will have an Amazing Walk So far one of the best walks you will do in Uganda. You will find this walk really well arranged and it does not take too long (3-4 hours). One would really feel they still want to continue because of the beauty and natural history features. Its educative and the guides are knowledgeable. #unpackandrelaxtravellers highly recommends visiting this site which is outrageous beautiful to all nature lovers and especially those who enjoy scenic walks.
