What is POATE?
The Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo (POATE) is Uganda's biggest tourism fair organized by the Uganda Tourism Board-UTB. It is set in a B2B format aimed at connecting local tour operators, lodges and hotels with international travel agents for business networking and a B2C format to connect travelers to destination managers and tour operators.
