Playing mantis have preditors of it's own, did you know that it battle with bats
It was once believed to have special powers

Playing mantis is list by IUCN red listing as not endanged species but threatened mostly in Germany

The African spurred tortoise, also called the salcata tortoise is a species of tortoise inhabiting the southern edge of the Sahara desert in Africa.
It is the 3rd largest species of tortoise in the world and the largest species of main land tortoise.

The Ankole long horned cattle also locally known as inyambo are majestic longhorned animals which move long distances for pasture and water .
They are also considered to be yardstick warriors and were also believed to aid in divine incarnation In Uganda .
They are reared for various uses such as food ,skin and hides for cultural regalias like drums sandals and clothing.
They are also used for paying bride price/dowry in various countries in Africa especially Uganda
The beauty of long horned cattle always welcomes u in the western parts of uganda and other parts of the country and is the pride of Banyankole(a tribe in western Uganda )
According to the IUCN status the species is threatened with extinction

The zebras are black and white stripped in colour.
A group is called herd
And is always led by one dominant female.

Did you know that a zebra is able to differentiate an individual from another by using its strips which are different from each other just like humans's finger prints are?
