Passengers whose final destination is the USA carry a negative viral NAAT or Antigen test result tested on the day of departure.

· Test on Departure: Passengers departing Uganda must hold a valid negative PCR test certificate tested within 72 hours prior to departure.
This does not apply to children aged 3 years and younger, provided they are accompanied by parents who hold a negative PCR test.
· Vaccine: Passengers aged 18 years and older must hold proof that they are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 prior to travel.
Passengers will be considered fully vaccinated against Covid-19 if they meet 1 of the following requirements:
2 weeks have passed since receiving a 1-dose accepted vaccine (Johnson and Johnson);
2 weeks have passed since receiving the second dose of a 2-dose accepted vaccine (AstraZeneca, Covaxin, Covishield, Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinopharm, Sinovac, Novavax/Covovax);
2 weeks have passed since receiving the full series of the active (not placebo) AstraZeneca vaccine trials; or
2 weeks have passed since receiving 2 doses of any 'mix-and-match' combination of the above accepted vaccines administered at least 17 days apart.
Vaccines must be accepted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Please note that the Sputnik vaccine is not accepted.
The requirement to hold proof of vaccination does not apply to the following passengers, provided they hold an Excepted Covered Individual Attestation:
Nationals and Lawful Permanent Residents of the United States;
Passengers travelling for diplomatic and official foreign government travel, provided holding an official letter from the U.S. or a foreign government;
Passengers who hold a documented medical contraindication to receiving a Covid-19 vaccine;
Passengers participating in certain Covid-19 vaccine trials;
Passengers travelling for humanitarian or emergency reasons;
Passengers who hold a valid visa (excluding B-1 business or B-2 tourism visas) travelling from a country with limited Covid-19 vaccine availability;
Members of the U.S. Armed Forces or their spouses or children (aged younger than 18 years);
Sea crew members who hold a C-1 and D non-immigrant visa and an official letter from the employer indicating the passenger is required for the operation of a vessel that will depart from a U.S. seaport, or is on return travel after disembarking the vessel consistent with their visa and official letter; or
Passengers whose entry would be in the national interest, as determined by the Secretary of State, Secretary of Transportation, or Secretary of Homeland Security (or their designees), provided they hold an official U.S. government letter.
The requirement to hold proof of vaccination also does not apply to refugees.
· Test: Passengers aged 2 years and older must hold a negative viral NAAT or Antigen test result tested within 1 day prior to departure.
This does not apply to: Passengers holding proof that they have recovered from Covid-19, provided they also hold a positive Covid-19 test result obtained within 90 days prior to departure and a letter from a licensed healthcare provider or a public health official.
· Form: All passengers must hold a completed Combined Passenger Disclosure and Attestation to the United States of America Form and present it prior to boarding.
· Mask: Passengers aged 2 years and older must wear a mask at all times throughout the flight, including during boarding and disembarking. Refusal to wear a mask is a violation of federal law and may result in denial of boarding, removal from the aircraft and/or penalties under federal law.
This does not apply to passengers with disabilities who cannot wear masks.
