Masai Mara national reserve is one of the wildlife conservation and wilderness areas in Africa, with its population of wildebeest , Africa Big 5 among others.

The annually wildebeest migration in Masai Mara is spectacular event, being the largest movement of animals on planet , with up to 1.5 million wildebeest.

The journey start from Serengeti-Tanzania in search of rich pastures and reach Mara River the crossing point.

The great migration is a circular movement and a process which repeats itself every year rotating between three national parks of Masai Mara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro between the month of July-October.

Buffalos are one of the Africa's big 5 animals weighing over 680 kg with a life span of around 15-25 years.

The horns on both males and females have a curved shape that almost looks like two hooks pointing in opposite directions. The horns of the females will grow to become longer and more slender than the Male's horns which will generally become a bit shorter but thicker.

A buffalo spotted alone in the wilderness is considered a "loser"
