SHORT GORILLA TRIP TO VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK (RWANDA)

Volcanoes National Park lies in northwestern Rwanda and borders Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Uganda. The national park is known as a haven for the rare and endangered mountain gorilla and golden monkeys. It is home to five of the eight volcanoes of the Virunga Mountains, and spans 160 km2 covered in rainforest and bamboo. The park was the base for the zoologist Dian Fossey.
Detailed itinerary.
Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National park for Gorilla and Gold monkey trekking.
Wakeup early morning after your breakfast, our driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to Volcanoes National park for Gorilla trekking, 2 hours’ drive to the tourist Centre get briefed with the park rangers a bout the code of conduct while trekking these endangered species, the trekking takes around 2 to 4 hours on an encounter with the habituated, you will be allowed to spend not more than 60 minutes with them as you watch them play with their young ones, jump a round tree branches, and feeding each other later you will transfer to the airport for your flight.

Excursion of Uganda Transport Tours and sight seeing
Overview
The one-day transport excursion starts and ends in Kampala, it will take you through various Uganda Transport sites from Water Transport, Railways as we as Air transport covering visits to Port bell Uganda, Uganda Railway, Kanjansi Airstrip and Entebbe Botanical Gardens.
The Tour starts with Port Bell Uganda, the ferry Landing site located in Nakawa division approximately 11km from Kampala Business Centre, it was nicknamed after Sir Hesketh Bell a British commissioner who took over British Administration of British interests in Uganda, it has rail links between Kampala and Jinja other Rail head pots include Kisumu, Musoma and Mwanza the port is connected with other three port.
Uganda railway co-operation was formed by Imperial British East African Company (IBEACO) during the scramble for territories among European countries in the Great lake’s region, the construction of the railway line started in the port city of Mombasa in 1896, between December 1895 and March 1901 the first Indian coolies begun to return to India after their contracts had ended in 1899, the railway linked interiors of Uganda, Kenya and Indian Ocean. The official railway was opened in 1901, after the merges and sprits the railway is now managed by both Kenyan railway cooperation and Uganda railway cooperation.
Kajansi Airstrip located in Kajansi, it is owned and operated by Mission Aviators Fellowship approximately 18km from Kampala city Centre, it operates Small air crafts dealing in regional flights and other destinations like Ankole, Bugembe, Butiaba, Kakira, Kihihi, Kinyara, Muzizi and more
Lastly Entebbe Botanical Gardens located on northern shores of Lake Victoria 34km form Kampala city Centre seating on 40hactares just 5minutes drive from Entebbe International Airport, it has variety of wildlife from water birds like King fishers, Herons, Cattle Eaglets to mammals including the Vervet Monkeys, Black & White colobus with some Tree squirrels plus over 309 plant species.
