About Sunday, we were blessed to sight the Rock hyrax, black and white colobus monkey, vervet monkey and a diversity of birds during an experimental excursion to Lubule cave all within Midigo Hill. We also traversed Mt. Kei Forest Reserve which used to a home for Rhinos that were hunted down to extinction. All these are geared towards identifying tourism sites within Yumbe District.

There was once a challenge done by the locals to pull down a rock boulder off the Midigo Hill, legend has it that on that dreadful day; over 200 persons participated in pulling the boulder down slope. As they did,the rope they had fastened broke loose, over 200 people perished on spot 🙄. Till today, no one has dared to bring down the boulder.
