We had a team that birded Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve, Budongo Forest, and the Butiaba Escarpment.

The Eastern part of Uganda where Pian Upe is located is the current hot cake in Uganda and the Fox'sWeaver and Karamoja Apalis were the highlights of the excursion.

MAGICAL KENYA JULY 2023!
First stop was Masai Mara, then Lake Naivasha, then Lake Nakuru National Park for specials like White Rhinos and Flamingos.
Next was Amboseli National Park for specials like the Secretary Bird, Cheetahs to mention but a few, and ofcourse Masai Mara for the greater migration of Wildebeests and Zebras.

We are celebrating the sighting of one of Uganda's specials the 'African Pitta' in Kibale Forest National Park by the birding guru Johnnie Kamugisha himself yesterday.
Photos are not of good quality since they were taken by a phone but we are super chuffed with this sighting.

Religious Tourism

Every 3rd June pilgrims from all over the world congregate at the Namugongo Uganda Martyrs shrine to pray for the 45 Christian converts who were killed on orders of Mwanga 11 Kabaka( King) of Buganda between 1885 to 1887.
