Residents watch River Mubuku floods taking their only bridge
Climate change is a reality. It is evident in the Rwenzori mountain foothills. Crops yields have lowered due to extreme climatic conditions. Networks, businesses and livelihoods have been greatly impacted too.
On river Mubuku alone, over twenty bridges have been swept by flood in a row within two years, by the seasonal floods. Today, a Bridget that was just completed two months ago, has also been taken by the river.
Communities need to access social services and basic needs. So they helplessly construct a new bridge every month.
A cultural dance by the indigenous peole.
On a trip to Kenya, we will show you the interesting cultures, where you will learn how these indigenous tribes have lived with wildlife and continued to happily celebrate their cultural dances and other norms to entertain and enrich the generations.
