Yesterday, Rainforest and Community tours (www.theugandatrips.com) and Ruboni conservation and community development (www.rubonicamp.com) participated in the inaugural meeting of proper management of services on bukurungu trail in the Rwenzori Mountains National Park, with the senior warden in charge of RMNP,

In attendance was five community owned and run tourism institutions/ businesses.

We agreed to establish Bukurungu Trail Users Association.

This further demonstrates the commitment of Ruboni Community, and the Uganda trips towards enhancing tourism inclusiveness by integrating grass root communities in the tourism value chain on the Rwenzori Mountains.
