African Leopard (Panthera Pardus Pardus)
- Leopards are solitary animals, i.e each adult animal has its own home range.
- They are large elusive and shy carnivores.
- They're so secretive, bold and versatile that they can live in several places where other cats can't live.
- Leopards in an overnight, on an average can move a distance of 3-5km where food is adequate, 10 - 33km in case of inadequate food. Males move longer to females as they have to monitor sexual status of females in their territory.
- They hunt mostly during night and rest during day time.
- Leopards have no particular mating period. But during oestrus, a pair stays together for 1-4 days and couples for a good number of times, up to over 60 times in period of 90 hours.

Zebras live in family groups of stallion, although families will come together in vast herds of thousands.
- They feed during day feasting on a variety of grasses and browse such as leaves and twigs. They are so much dependant on water and they can hardly survive without it.
- They are boldly black and white striped and NO two individuals look alike exactly.
- In matters of protection against land predators, they retreat into open areas with good sights at night period.

MARSH MONGOOSE
- This is carnivorous with a shaggy appearance from the coat hair that are striped.
- It's a solitary and nocturnal creature that feeds on aquatic prey like frogs, fish, prawns and crabs.
- It's well acquainted with living in semi - aquatic environments and has strong non - retractable claws that are well suited for digging and grabbing food. It's also an excellent swimmer, maintaining it's head above water.
- It's quite an intelligent animal, i.e it has been seen throwing snails and crabs against the rocks so as to break open the shells. Woow!!

This animal is called a HORNEY BADGER
- It has no natural predators because it's fearless and no animal can risk fighting with a mature badger.
- it's a solitary, mostly nocturnal creature and fierce predator that feasts on porcupines snakes, scorpions, hates, tortoises, amphibians, fruits, berries and honey.

Have ever noticed the uniqueness of Giraffes??
A male giraffe can weigh up to 1.4 tons.
Both sexes have horns with a female's smaller than the male's.
A giraffe's neck contains the same number of vertebrae as a humans, with 1.5m - 1.8m neck.
It has a tough tongue covered with bristly hair that helps it to eat thorny acacia leaves.
The female gives birth while standing, letting the calf fall to the ground for 6ft without being hurt.
As this giraffe walks, it moves both legs on one side of it's body and then both legs on the other side.
