The Abbeville Film & Visitors Commission (AFVC) was founded in 2008 with the goal of promoting film, television, and video production in Abbeville, Louisiana and Vermilion Parish. AFVC is a government entity funded through tax dollars that is overseen by a board comprised of five commissioners: Dianna Ducote, Debbie Garrot, Gale Luquette, Ted Luquette, and Tony Mayard.
