The Acadian Centre Acadien and the Abbeville Cultural & Historical Alliance have opened the Russell Gaspard French Immersion Scholarship to be awarded to Vermilion Parish high school students (age 15 and above) for the 2025 Summer French Immersion Study program in Nova Scotia, Canada. The five-week French immersion session will run from June 29 to August 2, 2025, with the scholarship covering tuition, books, room & board, transportation to and from the airport, socio-cultural activities and side trips included through the program (a $4,600+ value).
