We offer semester-long study abroad programs in Oxford, England; Montevideo, Uruguay; and Leipzig, Germany; as well as select programs at locations around the world through our relationship with Council for Christian Colleges and Universities’ study abroad programs and short-term mission experiences through WorldWide Witness. In addition to getting your passport stamped, you can also participate i

n cross-cultural experiences right in the USA, including Washington, D.C., Nashville and Hollywood. Travel with faculty members to teach English in China, assist social ventures aiding aboriginal communities in Australia, or visit other locations with a specific academic or service interest. At ACU, you can make the world your classroom.

What’s up! My name is Kade Killion and I’m a sophomore from Abilene, TX! I went to Montevideo in Fall 2023, and my favorite thing about Montevideo is that it is such a hospitable place. I also find it very unique that it’s so common for Uruguayans to begin eating dinner at 10:00 pm. 🌙

Ambassador Introduction!!🇬🇧☕️💂‍♂️

My name is Shelby Chapman and I am a sophomore, Speech Pathology major with minors in Bible and Psychology, from Salem, Oregon! I studied abroad in Oxford in Fall 2023, and I am one of the Oxford ambassadors this year. I fell in love with Oxford for so many reasons that came together so beautifully. The people I met came from all over the world, and studying abroad there gave me the opportunity to build relationships with people of all ages that share a common love of Oxford.

I love the lifestyle Oxford offers of walking everywhere as well! This gave me time to really think and take in where I was, and created a space for some of the best conversations I’ve ever had. Something I found unique to Oxford was how the atmosphere is truly one of a kind with architecture that took my breath away!

Hi everyone! My name is Genevieve Graessle, and I’m a senior English major with minors in Film and Biblical Studies from Austin, TX! I studied abroad in Leipzig in Spring 2022, then in Oxford in Summer 2023.

Something that I love about Leipzig and Germany is their admiration and appreciation for nature, and their priority of spending time outside. I always loved walking to a coffee shop or the library through one of their beautiful parks, and getting to see so many families enjoying the sunshine together!

Oxford Ambassador Introduction! 🇬🇧☕️💂‍♀️

My name is Sage Kroeger and I’m a Senior Child and Family Services major with a concentration in Child Life from Keller, Texas! I studied abroad in Oxford in the Spring of 2022 and am serving as one of the Oxford Ambassadors this year! I love Oxford for its rich history and inviting atmosphere. In Oxford, I often found myself spending time walking around the city, popping in and out of local coffee shops and stores, and conversing on picnic blankets in fields with friends taking every moment in. One of my favorite memories of my study abroad experience was meeting up with a couple of girls from the Leipzig group that semester in Italy for a girls trip during spring break where we visited Rome, Cinque Terre, Venice, and Florence!

Leipzig Ambassador Introduction!!!! 🇩🇪🥨🏔️

Hey there! My name is Ethan Swaney, and I’m a junior Bible major from Keller Texas! Y’all, if you’re going to study abroad, you can’t get better than Leipzig, Germany. The country itself is chock-full of church, cultural, musical, and literary history – and Leipzig is no exception! Leipzig is a beautiful city with a mix of old and new architecture. You can walk right down the street to get a delicious German pastry and a cup of coffee before exploring the gigantic park across the street with your friends!

Living in Germany allows you to experience living in a country that speaks a different language – an exciting experience in and of itself – and the central location of Germany allows you to visit several other European countries each with their own language and culture! Germany is the perfect epicenter for an unbelievable European adventure!

I could go on and on, but the only way for you to see it is to experience it for yourself! Part 1 of a glimpse into of ACU’s COBA trip to Costa Rica! Known for its biodiversity and sustainability as a country, the trip was full of opportunities to soak in all the rich nature that encapsulates the area of Turrialba, Costa Rica.
