Spent a wonderful few days aboard Royal Caribbean’s Mariner of the Seas! It was nice to have a little sun, a beautiful Scuba dive, amazing food, wonderful entertainment, and incredible company. Cruises are the most relaxing vacations!!

Meanwhile, a brand-new Monsters, Inc land is coming to the park, featuring a door vault ride based on the iconic scene from the movie!

I will miss MuppetVision - it has been a treasure in to my family since I was a teenager! However, I am SO EXCITED about Monster's Inc's takeover of the area. How do you feel about these changes? Nostalgic? Excited?

Most people don’t know how much fun there is to be had on a non-park day at Disney if you head over to the Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground! You can enjoy in activities like horseback riding, canoeing, lawn games, fishing, archery, and bike rentals, even if you are not staying there. Then, in the evening, sit back for some high-energy entertainment during the dinner show, the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical R***e. It’s sure to make you laugh and sing while you enjoy some of the best home-cooked food you’ll ever taste. There is so much to explore at this amazing resort!

Towel creations are a fun surprise to come back to every night on your Disney cruise! Your cabin steward will turn your bed down every night while you are at dinner, leaving you a fun creation that greets you when you return. My favorite was the Kraken… perfect for pirate night!

While in Hamburg, Germany last month, Lance and I enjoyed walking the historic Elbe Tunnel under the river! Opened in 1911, this impressive underwater passage connects the bustling city with the tranquil banks of the Elbe River. It took us about 15 minutes to reach the other side after an elevator ride, and we were so glad for the coolness that allowed us to escape the humidity above.

The Elbe Tunnel took about four years to build, with construction starting in 1907 and finishing in 1911. It was an impressive engineering feat for its time, designed to facilitate transportation across the Elbe River. Years ago, cars were allowed to drive through the tunnel, but in 2015 it was converted to foot and bike traffic only. Don't miss out on this iconic experience on your next trip to Hamburg!

Disney cruises offer “animation” classes where you can learn to draw the characters. It’s so fun! Pro tip: you can do this at Animal Kingdom park, too!

Lance was laughing because the last time he tried to draw a duck was when Elijah was about 4 years old…. I think he did pretty well this time! 💙🦆😁
