This new land will feature Disney’s first-ever suspended roller coaster, inspired by the film’s iconic door sequence. Guests will join Mike, Sulley, and the rest of the gang as they navigate the factory’s maze of doors in a thrilling and innovative ride experience. This addition continues Hollywood Studios’ transformation into a hub for immersive, story-driven lands.

FUN FRIDAY: The Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge Resort is a hoot!! The servers are so goofy and will do the unexpected, keeping you laughing throughout your meal. At our last visit, our waiter gave Lance a straw by putting it on his head. Some of our neighbors asked for a spoons for sharing dessert, and you can see what he came up with for the girl who got a little messy during her meal!! It’s impossible not to have a great time there, especially when the food is fantastic on top of it all!

Hot days like today make me wish I were at EPCOT enjoying their newest attraction, Moana’s Journey of Water! This burst of up walk-through exhibit gives guests a chance to cool off while learning about the beauty of nature’s water cycle with lots of opportunity for play mixed in!

Andy’s Backyard at Hollywood Studios “shrinks” you to the size of a you for endless fun!! I LOVE that m, two times in a. Row, I’ve beat Lance at the game/ride Midway Mania… and the green army men are a crowd favorite!
If you are looking for something truly unique to do on your next Disney trip, try EPCOT’s DiveQuest! Certified divers can explore the 203-foot wide aquarium at the Seas pavilion, the second-largest salt water aquarium in the U.S. More than 42 species make their home in this amazing environment, but I have to admit, my favorite thing to see was the children viewing us through the windows of the Seas Pavilion or the Coral Reef Restaurant. I loved playing rock-paper- scissors with them from underwater!
I’m so glad I shared this experience with my awesome husband, who was all about this adventure! The divers you see in these photos are not us, as we were not allowed to take pictures during the experience, but they did take this one for us just before we submerged. We made sure to go back to the pavilion the next day to take pictures from the other side of the glass, so we will never forget the wonder of that amazing day!

🎵 The Garden Rocks concerts at the American Gardens Theater are no extra cost and will WOW you.

Don’t miss the myriad of incredible street performers you’ll see while walking through EPCOT’s World Showcase. This juggler in the Italy pavilion didn’t need any words to make the crowd cheer! Do you have a favorite you always make sure to see?
If you’ve never been, it’s hard to imagine that waiting in line can be part of the fun! Disney is AMAZING at creating interactive, detailed ride queues that set the stage for the story of the attraction, like this wall of dripping “honey” you can draw in while you wait to ride The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. You’re never too old to play!

DID YOU KNOW? If you want to get your picture with an Avenger in Florida, you'll have to do so at Universal Studios, not Disney World! Universal secured a deal with Marvel long before Disney acquired the comic book powerhouse. As a result, Universal has exclusive rights to certain Marvel characters in their Orlando theme park. However, you can visit Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure for more thrilling superhero action!
In your trip around the world at Epcot, make sure you slow down to take in some of the incredible street performers! They always draw a crowd and draw a smile with their incredible display of talent with a touch of humor. Disney magic with a human connection!

The Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular is back at Hollywood Studios! This 30-minute live action show is full of energy and exciting stunts performed right before your eyes. I was glad it re-opened in January! Have you seen it before?
PRO TIP: when you go to get your kids’ pictures taken with the characters, make sure you are videoing as well as taking photos. Sometimes you will capture something really sweet or funny like this hilarious interaction my kids had with Chip and Dale in 2016! I’m so glad I have this memory on video as well as in photo… it still makes me laugh all these years later! I want to see your family’s character photos… comment with one of your favorites! Don’t forget to say who was in the picture and when it was taken.
The more I read about Disney's 50th Anniversary Celebration, the more I wish I could be there for the opening in October! New attractions and specially themed fireworks will make it extra magical. As a singer and a lover of acapella music, one of my “can’t miss” attractions at Epcot is hearing the Voices of Liberty sing at the America Pavilion. Throughout the year, their pitch-perfect renditions of patriotic songs are performed with such precision that I am usually left in tears. This spring, they were performing in the America Gardens Theater, wearing modern red, white, and blue outfits instead of in their traditional colonial costumes. I caught the end of “Yankee Doodle Dandy” as you’ll see in this video clip. Their performance often includes a neat little monologue about the US penny and what it says about us as a nation. I have included the text of it below. On this Memorial Day, may it inspire your patriotism and gratitude for those that have given their lives for Americans. Let Freedom Ring! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Penny Monologue as recited by Disney’s Voices of Liberty “Suppose our civilization were destroyed, and our cities lay completely in waste. Suppose 20,000 years from now, archaeologists from another society are poking around the ruins from your hometown. If they found just one penny, they would know this about us: The coin is made of a blend of metals. And that would tell them that we were miners, and that we knew the science of metallurgy. By the shape of the coin, a perfect circle, they would know that we understood geometry. The date on the coin would let them know that we understood arithmetic, and that we had a calendar. The portrait of Abraham Lincoln would mark us as artists who had an advanced culture. The words ‘United States’ would let them know we are a federated group of local communities bound together by one strong central government.
