This was such a fabulous trip

We shared lots of food trying to save money and not over eat.

We really didn’t find a whole lot of foods from the festival that we wanted to try. We just stuck to the basic foods we like. (We just aren’t very adventurous).

Mask....
A whole different subject.

****Please don’t criticize me on my choice on whether I wear a mask or not***. That is not the point of this post. I will wear a mask when I am asked to or if it is necessary.

Wearing a mask in Disney wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. (Considering I do not wear one full time). There we lots of times we would take it off: when we rode the Skyliner, walking back to our room when no one was around, sitting at a table eating, pool and resting and other odd times. Cast Members were very nice about it and I feel like they are being a little more relax about it. Although I did hear cast members reminding guest in the parks to cover their nose with their mask. In the heat it is a little rough just because it’s humid more then hot. But all in all it wasn’t bad at all.

Tuesday
Time to head home!!

This was our breakfast this morning. We checked out of Pop Century around 9:15 and sat by the pool and played cards before we had to leave.

We boarded Magical Express and arrived at the airport by 12:45 and on through security quickly.

We have TSA Precheck. Such a great thing to have. We didn’t have to wait through the main security lines.

We are now waiting on our flight.

My thoughts about our trip next!

You had to find Spike the Bee all around Epcot and when you completed it you got a tumbler, we got 2. I forgot to take a picture of them.

Posted wait was 25 minutes we waited 16 minutes.

Posted wait was 50 minutes we waited 19 minutes.

We made our way back to the resort and back to our room 9:45.

Around 5:30 we made our way back to Epcot, our top rides to accomplish were Soarin, Spaceship Earth and Frozen Ever After.

Fish and Chips from England, was calling our name for dinner.

Next we were off to Soarin. 💙❤️💚.

On our way to the Worlds we stopped in at the Epcot Experence”. This was really neat because it shows the future of Epcot!!!

Epcot is going through a major transformation. There are walls all
Around the main hub and most of it is totally gone. Mouse Gears, both intervention building, water fountain everything. Disney is doing double time trying to get this area done by October 1st of this year. That’s Disney’s 50th celebration.

We made it over to “The Seas with Nemo and Friends” walk on, and then another walk through the aquarium to see the Manatees and maybe some Dolphins 🐬 and yes 1 dolphin was out!!! 🐬🐬🐬

We made our way over to the land and we got something to eat at Sunshine Season. We got Stir Fried Chicken: it was yummy!!!

Living with the Land 🥰 was next posted 20 minute wait and we waited 10. Soarin had a 70 minute wait time so we decided to come back to this later.

Now it was time to head to World Showcase.

Epcot International Gateway is located in World Showcase which is a long hike to the front of the park. The main entrance to Epcot is newly decorated and so we made our way to the front to see how fabulous it looks.

We passed by Martin Birdhouse, Mission Space and lots of other beautiful Topiaries and flowers.

The front of the park was fabulous. I love the clean look to it.

Now it’s time to ride a few rides.

Monday

Last full day!

We have to make the most of it.

Epcot is my favorite park
Flower and Garden is my favorite festival.

What a great way to spend our last day. Only down fall, no fireworks show yet!!! Soon.

We left our room around 9:15 and made our way to the Skyliner. Skyliner line to Epcot was long and slowly moving. We finally got to Epcot at 10:20. Park opens at 11:00 but Disney was letting guest in already. Bonus!!!!

Below is England, Canada, Topiaries and all the flowers all over the grounds. So beautiful!!!!!

Next was Germany and we had the Potato Cakes with Applesauce.

We took a couple of bites of it and we were done. Not that great.

Next was China and this food was amazing!!!!

Bon Bon Chicken Skewer with peanut sauce!!!
Crab Wontons.
Oh my goodness. I will have more of these before we leave!!!

After this we were done. We decided to head back to Pop.

We got on the Skyliner at 8:20 and in our room by 8:53

Moving on around the lands.

We stopped in Japan and had Crab and Shrimp and Soy Glaze Pork Shank. They were ok we liked the pork better then the Crab and Shrimp.

Next we made it to America.

They’re are several things we wanted to try.

The Funnel Cake!!! Yummy.

Charlie got us a Rum Drink. Wow!!! And he also got a Parline. One of his favorite things to eat!!

We sat there for awhile and enjoyed people watching with no mask on!!

The Rum drink had lots of rum in it!! 🤪😜🤪

Next we made it to Italy and we looked at all the Topiaries.

They are amazing.

The rain has slowed down and we felt like it’s done for the day!!! Charlie wondered down the paths to see if the Skyliner was running and yes it was!!!

Around 6:00 we decided to make a run for it and head over to Epcot!!

We were hungry and we didnt want to eat at the resort. The menu is very limited and we knew we could try foods from around the world.

Off we went. It was a quick transfer on the Skyliner and we were in Epcot by 6:25.

Off to France. So so pretty.

Lots of fabulous Topiaries to look at.
The new bathrooms are beautiful in France.

Rae’s store.

The Emporium.

We took a little time and walked around Rae’s store and then I decided I better ride “Space Mountain”. The app said it was a 35 minute wait and I was through the line in 20 minutes.

We had a dining reservation at Liberty Tree Tavern” for 12:35 and the down pour hit at 11:45.

We sat under cover behind the Christmas Store and made our way to LTT to eat when they called our reservation.

Our food was yummy as you can see. I forgot to take a picture until we had stayed eating.

Salad, Turkey and dressing, roast, mash potatoes, green beans and Mac and cheese. Yum yum!!! We had a blonde brownie and ice cream for dessert.

After lunch we made a quick run to Rae’s store for cover and then around 2:15 we got to the bus stop. We waited 2 hours for a bus. It was so crazy. We were wet and cold and frustrated because we only saw 4 buses in that 2 hour time.

Finally at 4:15 we got ona bus to the resort.

I’m looking forward to a hot shower and warm clothes.

Not sure if we will get out anymore today the weather is yucky.

We caught a Cavalcade, really cute.

One thing we wanted to eat were the Spring Roll’s in Adventureland.
We decided to get both Cheeseburgers and pepperoni!! They were yummy.

Frontierland.

We made it on over to Big Thunder Mountain and it was a walk on!!!

Splash Mountain was closed when we went to BTM and when we got off it had opened up!!!

We waited 20 minutes to ride this amazing ride one last time.

After Splash we made our way to “Haunted Mansion”. Walk on!!!!

Next we walk on over to “Peter Pan”. We did have to wait on this ride 20 minutes.

In the first 2 hours we rode 6 major rides. Woo hoo.

Great accomplishment.

Sunday

Magic Kingdom Day!
Storms are due in by noon time so we have a lot to accomplish by noon.

We left our resort by 7:15 and we walked into Magic Kingdom by 7:45. Park opens at 8:00am.

Walking up Main Street we saw the Fabulous 5 waving us in!! So so cute.

Now we are walking up Main Street and of course we see Rae’s store. Such cute windows and this is the best store ever.

The Castle.

The new color is so beautiful!!!

At 7:45 in the morning the crowds are so small.

Now let’s go to Adventureland!!

We decided to ride some rides.

First we went to “The Land”.

Walked on to Living with the Land. I don’t know why I like this ride so much but it’s a great ride. You learn so much.

Next we went to Soarin. My favorite ride, ok I have lots of favorites but this is my number 1.

The posted time is 35 and we “WALKED ON”.

It was the best.

After Soarin we went to “The Seas with Nemo and Friends”. The we walked through the Augurium. So much fun. Once we exited it started sprinkling.

We decided to grab something to eat and on our way to World showcase but first we stopped through the Butterfly House. That was amazing.

Next we got caught in the rain. Down pour. We made it to World Showcase Exhibition Center (Palvillion).

Charlie got some Scallops and shared a yummy Key Lime Tart plus we also got an Orange Bird Sipper with a creamsicle slush in it. That was so yummy.

The storm continued but we had a break in the rain we decided to make a run for it. International Gateway here we come. We realized that we couldn’t get back to Pop Century because the Skyliner was closed down because of the storm.

We made it to the International Gateway and inquired on how we should get back to our resort.

The sweet Cast-member Tyler informed us that we can walk to the Boardwalk and they will have a shuttle bus to your resort.

Well that was all well and good except there weren’t any bus going to our resort and there were about 200 people waiting to do the same. Finally they called in a few guys and after about 45 minutes we finally got on a bus back to Pop Century.

Once we got back to our room around 6:30 we were pretty wet and done for the day.

Epcot.

We made it to Epcot about an hour after we got to Pop. We took the Skyliner, such a genius intervention. Love the Skyliner.

We entered into Epcot at the International Gateway, which is in the World Showcase between France and England.

This is my favorite Festival in Epcot.
But if you know me. I love flowers.

I took lots of beautiful pictures of England and all the flower gardens.

I found Charlie in Dinosaur Land he was waiting for me.

Next It was time for Kilimanjaro Safari.

Kilimanjaro Safari wait time on the app was 35 minutes.

WE WALKED ON!!!!

Now of course it was 11:45 in the hot afternoon so we didn’t expect to see any Lions but we saw everything else!!! Giraffes 🦒, Elephants 🐘 and Tigers 🐅 oh my!!!

Actually we saw Tigers of the Maharaja Trek and he was sleeping hard.

We walked around a little bit longer then we ordered our lunch at Flame Tree Barbecue.

Charlie and I shared a Rib and Chicken Plate with Onion Rings. It was yummy but then again we were hungry!!!!

After lunch we decided to head back to our Resort. Which took us about 20 minutes after we exited the park and then to get back to our room.

We needed a quick nap. Animal Kingdom is always a hot park and it drains you.

Then we wanted to head to Epcot for the evening. Lots of wonderful food to eat there.

What??? 10 minute wait. I think I should ride it again.

Charlie’s waiting for me in Dinosaur Land and he’s getting a cookie, and he thinks it’s a 20 to 30 minute wait.
