The story of one of Tennessee's most historic places will come to life as numerous 18th century living history interpreters, heritage craftspeople, and character demonstrators converge at Fort Watauga for a step back in time. Come see how you can make history at Sycamore Shoals State Historic Park!

10:30 - 18th Century Fishing – Ranger Cory Franklin, Rocky Fork State Park (River Crossing Site)
11:00 - Lord Dunmore Speaks; Virginia’s Colonial Governor – Michael Henningsen (Fort Watauga)
11:30 - The British Army in the American Revolution – Alexis Dekeyser (British Camp)
12:00 - “Turning the Tide”; The Campaign to Kings Mountain – Steve Ricker, OVTA (Fort Watauga)
1:00 - Tactical Demonstration: The Battle of Kings Mountain (Please move to the spectator viewing area 15 minutes prior to demonstration.)
1:30 - “A Balancing Act”; Cherokee, British, and Colonial Relations – Mark & Sherry Finchum (Native Camp)
2:00 - Child Soldiers of the American Revolution – Ivan & Cohen Daniels, Watauga Valley Fifes & Drums (Fort Watauga)
3:00 - Auction – Open to reenactors and the public alike. Pick up some nice 18th century reproductions, books, and more. (Fort Watauga)
